Missions…
Children in Action is missions education, for boys and girls in grades 1–5, which includes praying, engaging, witnessing, and learning about missions, This will help your child develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, participate in the work of the church, and support missions. Through participation in Children in Action, children learn from the example of missionaries, believers, and hands-on mission activities what it means to actively engage in ministering to others with the compassion of Christ.
Music…
CIA Children’s Choir is an opportunity for children to learn about worshiping God through music and drama. The fall semester is devoted to learning basic music theory concepts and singing in some corporate worship services, and other opportunities to lead in various settings. The spring semester is devoted to combining the worship and musical concepts learned in the fall with the production of a spring musical.
Mission Friends is a class for Pre-K's and Kindergartners to learn about people and places around the world. We use interactive play opportunities, stories, songs and crafts to show other cultures. We also experience food from other nations and we try to create an understanding in children that everyone is unique, yet in some ways alike.
Class meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
