Preschool Bible Study...
Sunday morning Preschool Bible Study departments minister to children, ages birth through kindergarten. Our classes provide excellent physical care in developmentally age graded classrooms. Our choice of curriculum places emphasis on foundational teaching, which is activity oriented and offers hands-on learning opportunities. Loving volunteer teachers seek to help children learn about and experience the love of Christ while learning basic Bible truths. Classrooms are set up with various learning centers which allow children to make choices and experience movement while they are taught Bible truths and Life skills. Our regular Bible Study time is offered at 9:20 a.m. on Sundays.
Extended Teaching Care...
Extended Teaching Care (ETC) Ministry is a special service to parents, grandparents, and guardians of children ages Birth through Pre-K. It is a time that is provided for young children to learn at their own level, while their parents attend Sunday morning worship and hear the gospel presented. ETC Ministry is provided during our 8:00 and 10:45 worship times.
Extended Teaching Care provides the opportunity to repeat the biblical truths, songs and Bible verses that are presented to the children during the 9:20 Bible Study hour. For children who can come only at the 10:45 worship time, this will be their opportunity to hear the morning's Bible story and Bible phrases.
All parents of preschoolers are asked to serve in this ministry (rotating basis) during the 10:45 worship time to relieve Bible Study teachers so they can attend worship with their families. If you have not scheduled your ETC time or if you are a new member of DPFBC, contact Melinda Stephenson, at 281-47-2391 x122 or email her at mstephenson@dpfbc.org. |
