My name is Steve Perkins and I am 22 years old. I was born in Dallas, Texas and three years after I moved up to Manitowoc, Wisconsin. I lived there for 17 years, graduated from Lincoln High School and went to UW-Manitowoc, a community college for a year after that. My dad, Paul Perkins, used to be a Senior Pastor at the church called Faith Evangelical Free Church. He wanted a position where he could work more closely with adults in the church, which brought our family down to Pasadena fall of 2005 where he now works at Clearpoint Baptist Church on Beltway 8. My mom, Rebecca Perkins, has done a lot of financial work for different jobs here and there. She now works part time as Office Manager/Bookeeper at Chick-Fil-A and part time as Financial Secretary at Clearpoint Baptist Church. I have 2 brothers, Josh, who is 24 who works in Bahrain, an Island off of Saudi Arabia, teaching U.S. Government for high school students who want to attend college in the United States. He is now engaged to a wonderful girl named Alison Murphy, and will be married on August 2nd, 2008. My younger brother, David, just graduated from high school and wants to become a film director. He made two films for a film contest in San Antonio, and now is doing different movie projects for different companies as a job. I myself am going into Audio Engineering, which is the technical side of music at San Jacinto College – Central Campus. I will be done with my program spring of 2009. I am balancing my own interest in music performance with God’s work in my life, keeping my life straightened to the point that I am also following His Will for me.
