Our Values

Prayer
We long to be a family of faith who reflect radical dependence on God through a lifestyle of prayer. We seek to align our lives and ministries with God's purposes and direction as we pour out our hearts, hurts, gratitude, and requests to him.

Relationships
God has created each of us with the need for authentic relationships characterized by love, honesty, encouragement, and accountability. Such relationships are essential to promoting unity within our family of faith. We believe small groups provide a safe place for individuals to develop these relationships and experience true community.

Truth
Truth is summed up in Jesus Christ and his story which is accurately revealed in the Bible, God's written word. It is reliable, relevant, and the ultimate source of truth and authority that speaks to every generation. We are committed to the clear, accurate, and relevant communication of God's Word in a way that ministers grace and urges obedience.

People
People matter to God and they matter to us. Our desire is to be a safe and accepting place where anyone can discover life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are committed to empowering people to express their faith confidently and naturally; while cultivating purposeful relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and the world.

Life Change
Life change means that over time we are becoming and acting more and more like Jesus Christ. We recognize that a person's spiritual journey cannot be reduced to simplistic formulas. However, disciplines such as Bible study, prayer, fasting, giving, journaling, meditation, service, and worship can contribute to spiritual growth. We believe this life change is best expressed and encouraged through healthy relationships.

Compassion
Because Jesus was moved with compassion in response to peoples' needs, we also desire to have hearts moved with compassion. We seek to offer practical assistance, gentle support, and caring friendship to anyone experiencing life's many challenges.
