Missions
At the heart of our church you will find a people who desire to invest in the lives of others and their world. Our church is part of the Southern Baptist Convention. It allows our church to participate in the largest missionary organization in the world. Through the "Cooperative Program," we help support over 7,500 missionaries in 104 countries.

Opportunities to Invest
Jarod and Jennifer Davis in Asia - Jarod and Jennifer are career missionaries in a "closed" country in Asia to help start a church planting movement among people that have no access to the good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

They are responsible for coordinating any and all efforts to share Jesus' name with our designated "people group." This could include coordinating short term mission trips of those who want to help, prayer walking, teaching English, Bible distribution, one-on-one evangelism, etc.

Touch Teams
The purpose of In Touch Ministry is to connect with those who are guests of DPFBC as well as those who are new to our community. The goal is to contact/touch each first time guest the same day they attend. Contacts will be done by Touch Teams consisting of trained volunteers and staff on a one Sunday per month rotation. We also attempt to contact/touch every "New Move In" in Deer Park with a gift package and information about DPFBC.

Great Day of Service
This is a church-wide event that focuses our attention on service. It is an opportunity to take a step towards serving Christ through acts of service and to show God's love in practical ways. As we paint, clean up, visit, do light construction, and serve, we do it in Jesus' name and give Him the credit and the glory. It provides a platform from which to start or continue reaching out to the community in which we live.

Prison Ministry
Champions for Life (formerly Bill Glass Ministries) is the world's largest evangelistic prison ministry. The events we attend are called "Weekend of Champions" or "Day of Champions." Those who come to know Christ are "eternal winners," hence the name and the slogan.
